C.A.R.S. Vintage Slot Car Club

What is this Club? An informal gathering of slot-heads interested in running, restoring, racing, and chatting about vintage, repro-vintage, and unusual 1/24 and 1/32 slot cars.   Our focus is on cars designed for commercial raceways (as opposed to those for home sets.)

We meet to run and race those cool cars not normally seen on a typical race night.  You’ll see:

-    old Cheetahs, Cobras,  and Ferraris running on Cox, Dynamic, and wire chassis

-    beautiful vintage-style Can-Am racers on modern chassis

-    vintage-style hard body stockers on FCR chassis

-    old womps, thingies, sprints, etc.

Where and when do we meet? At The Race Place slot car raceway located in Farmingdale, NJ.  We currently meet the first Thurs night of each month from 7:00 – 10:00pmContact the Race Place for more info.

How do I join?  Just show up on the 1st Thurs night and have fun!  No dues, rules, bylaws, etc.   All are welcome.
