VALENTINE WEDDING

The challenge was to include the following twelve words in a short-short for Valentine's Day.
(romance, blustering, suite, affair, spiritual, caress, silence, poignant, rainbow, champagne, melted chocolate, peignoir.)

~~~~~~
They would be married on Valentine's Day, beside a small mountain stream in the Appalachian Mountains. Their's had been a long romance of nearly seven years and today would be their day. Her friends and family said their romance was poignant because he often brought her gifts seldom seen on a mountain top...gifts like a bottle of champagne once, bouquets of exotic flowers, boxes of chocolates that melted in your mouth.
He had suggested the bridal suite at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City for their honeymoon, but she told him no. Nor would she take the money he offered so she could buy herself a fancy peignoir. No, she told him when he seemed hurt over her wanting a mountain-top wedding rather than a blustering affair, she preferred a wedding location where their vows might be more spiritual, a location where they would be surrounded by the wonders of nature: the Rainbow Falls, the wildlife, the caress of gentle breezes, the silence of the woods. If she could have these, she knew in her heart they would live happily ever after.
