Back to Cowpunkmom's Personal Space.
Yes, friends, that is me, looking more "punk" than "cow" at that stage in my life. I was preparing to go on-stage at "SonFest" in White Rock, BC....I think it was 1998. I miss being blonde.
...and here I am looking "cow". Talk about Donny & Marie syndrome--a little bit country, a little bit rock-n-roll! I still don't know which one is me. I'll be ready to throw away my cowboy hat, and then I'll hear a great Bob Wills song that I want to cover. So then I'll be ready to trash my electric guitar, until I think of some great angry thing to write about....I think I'm doomed to musical schizophrenia.

MY NEW TATTOO!!!
OK, so I'd been wanting a new tattoo for years and years. I finally decided on a Chi Rho, a symbol from the early church that combines the first two Greek letters in the name "Christ". They used it to mean "in celebration of Christ", and also "Christos Rabboni", or "Saviour-Teacher". I like both of those meanings a lot. Constantine used it on his shields, believing that he would conquer if he used the sign. That is a bit weird to me...almost animistic. Not why I got the tattoo. Just to clarify. It is on my right forearm, and was done by Rick at Immaculate Concept in Calgary. I'd welcome any comments!
