| Billions of dollars are spent on trying to find a cure for aids. Treatments have been found to slow down the process but not to kill it off. So the virus is still being spread. If a cure for aids is ever found it probably won?t happen soon. But there are alternative ways to get rid of the disease. 1. Don't have sex with people infected with the virus. 2. Don't do drugs with dirty needles. 3. Don't drink or do any other weird things with peoples? blood. 4. Send all aids infected people to a remote area and keep them isolated. 5. Kill off all aids infected people. Of coarse people aren't going to want to kill off every person with aids. It wouldn't be humane. But I guess keeping the virus for future generations to deal with would be. If every person with aids were to be killed today, there may be no more deaths caused by aids ever again. But if people kept looking for a cure, all the people with the disease today would die and people who will catch the disease from the people infected today. This just results in more unnecessary deaths. But I guess this is the humane way. When mad cow disease struck Europe, people responded by killing off all the cows who might have the disease. And guess what? It worked. Why can't this tactic be used for aids? Lethal injection is a painless way to die. But that cost a lot. Cyanide doesn't hurt much either. And it's efficient because it can take out a lot of people at once. Remember, genocide is good If applied correctly. AN ALTERNATIVE STRAGETY: Let aids spread and spread while we hope for a cure. |
