Affirmative Action is a process that claims to be for equal opportunity, and the elimination of discrimination on the basis of race, gender, and ethnic background. And how does Affirmative Action accomplish this? By discriminating against white people. Its so ridiciously hipocritical its funny. " elimination of discrimination on the basic of race" yet they are only discriminating against white people. All these other races, black, hispanic, asian; want all the rights as anyone else, AND THEY SHOULD. But, they also want special privelidges... and that doesn't work. Its only adding to discrimination. Affirmative Action is a process in which minorities get special priveledges such as scholar ships to colleges that you can only get by being a certain race, such as Native american. If there was a scholarship that you could get only if you were white, it would be shot down the second before it took off. It would be called racist because that would be racist. But for some odd reason, when a minority gets a special privelidge like that, it is not called racism. And I'm completely clueless to why.
One of the bull shit reasons is because minorites suposivly live in poorer areas...... Are they insane? There are many whites that are poor. There are many minorities that are rich or well off. If they want to give people special privelidges because of their parents offspring, thats fine. But not because of their race. Certainly not all minorities are poor and certainly not all whites are rich. Affirmative Action is a stupid plan and one of the most hypocritical things i've seen. |
