Interests

My areas of interest revolve mainly around sports and computers.  I play hockey for the
Harpenden Ladies Hockey Club (where I won “Player Of The Year Award 1997 - 98”)
and for Sunderland University Ladies Team.  I also go to the gym whenever possible and
try to keep fit.

My interest in computers, specifically the Internet, has led to my taking a degree in BSc
Internet Information Systems at Sunderland University, where I am also course
representative.  I am continuously learning new computer skills throughout my course
and in my spare time.  I hope to eventually become a webpage designer and am currently
looking for work experience for the Summer 2000 in this subject, specifically in London.

I also enjoy travelling.  In recent years I have travelled to Canada, the USA (various
States), Ibiza, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and many European Countries including Denmark,
France, Italy, Spain and Germany.  I hope to continue travelling (specifically in other
continents), with a trip to Zimbabwe planned for this summer.  I also intend to take a
year out after university solely for the purpose of travel.

I also enjoy travelling in the United Kingdom.  I am near the completion of my Bronze
Duke Of Edinburgh Award and I am also a member of the Youth Hostel Association.
