Richard Quirk
Richard (2002) wrote us this letter. He is an interesting man, being talented and multi-faceted. Simply put - he is an artist.
...ever since I got back my intention was to go to ireland but a combination of having surgery on my spinner [finger] (which didnt help it and thus haven't played since) and really enjoying my job has kept me in Dunedin. So my job is filming the rugby over here, but my full time job is filming/editing/writing etc for a popular kids show. It's great fun and I get to travel all over our great country so its been hard for me to trade it for perhaps not such a good set up in Ireland. Also I auditioned for the presenter's job for the kids show, the decison has been dragging on for weeks but will finally find out on Tuesday, So either way I have a fun year lined up - work on the kids show and also the rugby. However I definitly will pull the pin maybe end of this year and make it to ireland and a lot more other places, and absolutely back to see the Cowichan lot. I have had a lot of enjoyment being able to brag about how I lived on a lake in sunny BC, and what I did for a job and what I did during the day. so hopefully my return is sooner rather than later. So yeah thats the job situation. I am moving into a great flat by the beach this week so excited about that, just with my friends, unfortunately there is no Mrs Quirk (or anyone close) coming with me.
