This is where you can learn about the things I believe in and what I stand for. I am a Born Again Christian and attend church on a regular basis. The church I attend is a non-denominational church and I have gone there all my life!!! I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all my heart and owe my life to Him! People that know me know that my parents were not supposed to have kids after my older sister because my mom has a negative blood type and my dad has a positive blood type. Well along came my brother and then me. The doctor told my mom what her options were, which were basically have the child and this child could be born with anything from a learning disability to total mental retardation or another option (in society's eyes but not my mom's or the doctor's) was abortion. My mom said no I dont care what "could" be wrong with this child I am having this child and will take care of it no matter what. So as you can probably guess I do not believe abortion is an option, in special cases possibly, but it depends on the situation.
I also believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead and is coming back soon to take us to that special place He has prepared for us!!! The Bible is light for my path as I venture from my parents' home out into the real world within the next year. I trust that He will provide for me and help me as long as I seek Him with my whole heart and run earnestly after Him!!! |

This memorial has a very long story behind it, but I have limited space. So the readers digest version....
My, at the time, best friend was dating my ex boyfriend and got pregnant with his child. They decided that they were not ready to be parents and that it would be best to abort the child. I found 2 loving families that would gladly adopt and pay for her to have this child. I told her this and she told me that no one else was going to raise her child. So I had to let it be and let her make her decision. I prayed and prayed, but she still decided it was best choice. But I know and trust that God WILL use this for His will and for good in the near future!! She didnt appreciate the fact that I tried to help her and save the baby and decided we no longer be friends. I pray that someday God captures her heart. |
