'The Remaining - The twin that killed her/his other self in the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual was called "The Remaining", and was feared and respected. Some of these Remaining went insane with grief, and others had their hair turn white overnight. Many of them turned reclusive and shunned all human contact. Twin are known to share each other's pain. Itsuki became a Remaing when he killed his twin Mutsuki. After the ritual Itsuki became very reclusive and quiet. That wasn't the only change though, the biggest change was that Itsuki's once jet black hair had become white. His hair became white overnight from all of the emotional pain he went through after loosing his twin. Unlike the other Remaining, Itsuki never bore a Crimson Butterfly on his neck because his and Mutsuki's ritual had failed. That was another painful reminder that his brother's death was only in vain.
