| The Coweta Public School District is located in southeast suburban Tulsa, Oklahoma. The district is comprised of 6 schools, with two more slated to be built in the near future. The City of Coweta and Wagoner county are among the fastest growing areas in Oklahoma. | The Bands | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Coweta Tiger Pride Band is competitive in class 4A in OSSAA contests and in class 5A in Oklahoma Bandmasters events. Our band is comprised of approximately 120 members. The band most currently has earned the 'sweepstakes' designation, indicating only superior ratings in the years 2006- 2007. The Coweta Band has been a finalist at the OBA championship 9 of the last 10 years and was winner of class 5A in 2003. | Fall 2008 Show | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tiger Pride Percussion is comprised of approximately 18 members. The ensembles experience and explore percussion through fundamental techniques and performance. Historically, this takes place in the fall season through the competitive marching venue and in the spring through chamber ensemble literature.
