The Spring and Fall Study Trips are falling into place.
I have been able to get the towns lined up and dates pretty
much finalized. For the Spring Trip, we will be traveling for
seven days, six nights to Gunnison, Lake City, Pagosa Springs,
Durango, and Cortez. For the Fall Trip, we will be traveling
for five or six days and four or five nights and visiting
Delta, Montrose, Norwood, Telluride, Ouray, and Silverton.
There is room for 23 people on each trip although this could
be expanded to 29.
Spring Trip: Saturday, May
1--Friday, May 7
Fee is $140 per person
Fall Trip: Sunday, September 19--Thurs, Sept 23
Fee is $100 per person.
Rules:
The Sign-Up period for both trips will begin on
March 6th at 12:01 a.m. for all people who have earned 100 +
hours or more in the past year.
As of March 25th after the Staff Meeting, the
trips will open up to all travel counselors regardless of
their hours earned.
You can call my office and leave a message or
wait until office hours.
If you attend the Spring Trip, you can only be an
alternate for the Fall Trip.
Please tell me which trip you want and the names
to put down.
Reservations are good for one week. To hold your
place you must pay the fee associated with your trip before
that week is up.
The fee is non-refundable unless you find a
replacement who also pays their fee in full and the same
rules apply to your replacement. This rule is standard for
all trips.
There will be ten alternate spots for each
trip.
Alternates do not need to pay their fee until
they reach full attendance status.
All travel counselors must participate in all
scheduled activities, meals, etc.
All travel counselors must stay with the group at
all times.
Any and all other rules that may
apply!
These two trips promise to be long BUT they also
promise to be loads of fun and full of excitement! I hope that
if you have the time, the money, and the energy to attend that
you will consider a trip around the Southwest with me this
Spring or Fall or Both. I look forward to getting your call
and seeing you on the Study Trips of the Great South
West!
