Dinner Theatre Trip—Sunday, July 25, 2004 The Dinner Theatre Trip for the bookstore is now closed. Please call Heather to confirm that you are signed up and to set up carpool arrangements. We will be leaving the center at 10:30 a.m. and arriving back around 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. Show: Born To Be Loud.
Fall Study Trip—Last Chance-July 15, 2004 The fall study trip deadline for all participants to sign up is July 15, 2004. This trip is now open to all alternates as well. If you were on the Spring Trip, you are now eligible to sign up for this trip. The cost of this trip is $100 per person and must be paid at the time of sign-up by check made out to the FCCVB. If fifteen people are not signed up by July 15, 2004, the trip will be cancelled and all checks will be returned to the owners.
Travel Counselor Staff Meeting—Wed, July 21 The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and I encourage all of you to attend. Come and join us as we expand our knowledge of the Front Range and Colorado! We will be watching a video on Lyons, CO! Travel Counselor Staff Meetings are a part of the ongoing training. We hope to see you there! |

Staff Meeting Notes 1. Pikes Peak Attraction Cards enclosed for those of you who didn’t pick yours up. 2. Spring Refresher Checks enclosed for those of you who didn’t pick your up. 3. The Fort Collins section will have double brochures in it due to a larger number of brochures and limited space. In the event you find a brochure space of this type. Restock the needed brochure behind the second brochure in order to create a rotating display. 4. Walkie talkies available for use during going to the shed. They are in the office. 5. New shirts are in. See Heather for a new shirt. 6. New nametags are in. See Heather for your new nametag. 7. Shift schedules for July are available as well as August and September. If you know your schedule, please fill them in to help with scheduling, especially if you are on a permanent shift. If you will be taking a trip, please send me an email, or write it on the calendar page for reference. 8. The bookstore manual has been updated. There is a new key, called the OOPS key for deleting mistakes. YEAH! Let me know how it is working out for you. The cash drawer had to be moved to a new spot due to a broken lock, please make a note of it. Please make change for the bookstore from the gray bags ONLY. The BLUE bags are the welcome center bags and the two should not be mixed. 9. Summer is here please park in the dirt lot until the CDOT rest area construction gets underway. 10. I am still looking for a volunteer or for some ideas on getting a helper for the new blind travel counselors. If you have any ideas or would like to work in tandem with Michael, please let me know. We can set up a meeting with you and Michael to see if you will mesh well prior to working together full time. 11. Keep an eye out for gas prices and if you can let me know what they are! 12. Sugar for the coffee has been moved out to the atrium in the coffee cart. 13. Please be sure to come in for your scheduled shifts and arrive on time staying for the full shift. Thanks. |
