| Family: Mother (Journalist) and father (university researcher who specializes in physics and astronomy)... they divorced when Rowen was 12. Interests: Reading, Go (Japanese chess), chess, puzzles, computer games, swimming, baseball (he likes watching it, not playing), and eating (did you know he eats more than Kento? That's scary) hmmmmmmm........ let me think...... (scary, I know) Rowen the smartest and most 'dangerous' Ronin Warrior (according to the big floaty head). He has an IQ of 250, and is a very studious person. Rowen is often found reading in any spare time he has, or doing an activity that requires actual thinking (a habit that should tub off on Shuu, lol). He is usually passive, but when gets angry, WHOO-EEE!!! Watch! It could even outdo Ryo! Rowen is known to sleep a lot. He's not lazy, he just stays up late reading, and he also has a low blood pressure. |
| More in depth about his parents: Father: Genichirou (I already told you his job) is like a type of mad scientist (like Doc brown in Back to the Future). He almost never leaves his lab, and he'd like Rowen to join him in his research. Mother: She is about a decade (that's 10 years) younger than Genichirou, and still keeps in touch with the two. She is described as a cheerful young person/ air-head. She is an international journalist, and when the other RWs meet her in Tenkuden, she is about 32. Rowen's mom gave birth to him when she was 18, and she treats Rowen and Genichirou as she would friends. On his father's side of the family, the was a legend about a yoroi the family once had, but lost. Taking interest in the opposite of what his father researched, Rowen researched ancient legends and strategy. He created a computer to analyze the data; however, he couldn't understand the output. Rowen's mom happens to drop by that day, and she identifies it as "Ama no hashidate", one of the three famous site in Japan, and where Rowen trains later in the tv series. It is here where he recieves his yoroi. The story says he went there during the spring vacation of his second year of junior high. This means he probably got it a year before the battle. |
