Last night I got to see the Pantera Reinventing the steel tour in my city, Philadelphia and it kicked ass! NothingFace was the first band on and put on a pretty good show. Then Steve and my boys from the legendary Morbid Angel played a few kick ass songs and warmed up the mosh pits for the next band, Soulfly. Max had the pits ragging and really had everybody pumped for Pantera. They opened with Hellbound off of Reinventing the Steel and ended the show with Cowboys from Hell off of The Cowboys from hell album. Phil made sure everybody knew it was Vinnies Birthday (he turned 37 on the 11th). They played some new shit but mostly old school Pantera. I have to say Phil was looking fucking hot as usual (so was my boy Steve form Morbid Angel). They put on one kick ass show and if you live in the Philadelphia area and missed it, you are one sad mother fucker!
