| Ode to Cowboy Mouth |
| There are many bands in this world worth recognizing, but if you really want to have a great time and you want your soul saved, you have to see Cowboy Mouth live in concert. Sparked by hearing Jenny Says in Phoenix before I moved to Maryland, it was the first concert my roommate and I attended at the 9:30 Club in DC. We waited after the show for autographs and the band was happy to sign them. We had such a great time that every time they've come to town (when I am here) I've been to see them. The band consists of (alphabetically): John Thomas Griffith (guitar, vocals, piano) Fred LeBlanc (drums, vocals, insanity) Paul Sanchez (guitar, vocals, dancing) Sonia Tetlow (bass guitar) Previously: Rob Savoy (bass guitar, vocals) Mary LaSang (bass guitar) These are the best guys in the music business, along with their crew. The band writes most of the songs and take turns singing, each with previous band experience and their own current projects. Visit their site and, if you haven't seen them before, I suggest Live at the Zoo as a great beginning to your quest for great music. |
