| The turtle races happen every year on the third week of June to celebrate the begining of summer. The winners take home a big trophy and gets to keep it the whole year to show off and gets their name ingraved on it. Afterwards there is a huge afterparty with punch, appetizers, and many tropical fruits special to Mayton Beach. | ||||
