Earth Meditation
You will need a clear crystal point for this meditation.
Take some time to get comfortable. Once you are comfortable, close your eyes and begin breathing slowly, letting the air in and out as you relax your entire body.
See yourself in a field. In this field, you see the tall grass sway with the gentle, warm spring breeze. Lay down in the grass and enjoy the sway of it around you. Feel the warm sun on your face. See the butterflies flittering by you as you lay there. Here the buzz of the other insects around you. As you lay there, feel yourself bonding with the Earth. Relax and enjoy the comfort of Her.
Pause Here
After a few minutes, slowly rise back to your feet. Stretch and look out in front of you. There you will see a patch of woods that you have never been to before about 100 feet in front of you. Walk slowly to it.
As you approach the woods, you will see the sun shining brightly through the trees, lighting your way. As you walk into the woods, you can feel it is cooler than the outside field. You notice all kinds of flowers and plants, some of which you have never seen before. Take some time to observe them and smell the flowers.
As you walk on, you notice all kinds of forest creatures. You see a racoon in the trees playing with another. You see squirrels eating food alongside the path. You see a fox running by. There are all kinds of amazing things to see here.
You walk on about another 20 feet, and you see a bright ball of light. You are intrigued, and you walk closer. It is hovering above the ground at about waist level. Once you approach the light, you notice it is a fairy. She has long blond hair, and she has little irredesant wings that are flittering against the breeze. She has on a little white dress about knee length, and she looks very human.
The Fairy gives you a clear crystal point that she harvested herself. She tells you that you will need it for your journey. She tells you to follow her, and that you have been chosen to be seen today by the Queen.
As you follow the Fairy, she takes you deeper and deeper into the woods. You see the birds flying by, and the animals scurrying past you. They are all friendly to you, and you pet a deer that is near the path. The Fairy laughs and tells you that you must be on your way.
The woods begin to get denser and denser. You can feel the air change and in the distance you see a large sunny patch. You are intrigued and wonder what it is. The Fairy tells you that is where you are going.
Fairy tells you to stay close by her, so that you can go together and she can announce your presence.
You now arrive at the clearing. It is a vast field with lots of flowers in many different colors and some scattered trees around it. There are animals everywhere, running and playing. The sun is shining brightly down on the ground, and the air is again warm with a gentle spring breeze. You can see a small pond with a waterfall over to the right of the field and a stream runs along the right and into the woods.
The fairy tells you to go to the water. You gaze into the water and see yourself. Then, your reflection begins to slowly change. The Fairy whispers to you not to be afraid and she leaves to announce your presence. You look at your reflection. It is changing to a very young woman, a very beautiful woman, with long, brown, curly hair. She wears a flower crown upon her head, and she has on a green, flowing dress that flows into the grass.
You feel the direction of the breeze change. You then hear the most beautiful voice of a woman saying, "turn around my child." You slowly turn around and you see the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. You realize that she is the same woman you just saw in the reflection from the water. You rise up, and she takes your hand and walks you over to her throne, and she sits. When she sits down, you lay your head in her lap, and she begins to stroke your hair. You feel as though you are one with her. You can feel the overwhelming motherly love radiating off her body.
As you lay there, with the woman stroking your hair, she begins to speak to you. She says "I am the Mother of all things. I am the Mother Earth. I have been with you from the beginning, and my love for you is neverending." She tells you about the seasons, the cycle of life and how you should not be sad when another passes over, for you will see them again. She tells you about the animals, and she tells you her secrets. You hear these things and you know you have been given wisdom from the Mother herself. You spend a large amount of time with her so you can hear the messages she is to give you.
After a long while, the Mother tells you that she has imparted her wisdom upon you, and now you may return home. You look up at Her beautiful face, and she says "Do not forget that I am within you always. Do you have the crystal that Fairy gave to you?" You tell her that you do have it. She then says "May I have it?" and you hand it to Her. She looks at it, and then says "I am going to empower this crystal with my energies and wisdom so that you can be reminded of me always. Keep it with you, and you can hold it any time you need my assistance." She then holds the crystal to the sun, and then brings it to Her heart, and then down to her loins, and then raises it to Her mouth and kisses it, and then places it back in your hands. She says "Before you go, always know that you are welcome back here to visit me anytime you need me." And then she kisses your forehead.
The fairy then tells you it is time to go, and you turn and begin to head back through the woods. You feel the breeze change to cool again, and you continue to see all kinds of animals and plants in the dense part of the forest. You realize that the forest is getting less and less dense, and you begin to see the sun shining through the trees again. Before you know it, you at the beginning of the forest again. The Fairy tells gives you thanks for letting her lead you there, and you give her a small, shiny, coin from your pocket. You then leave the woods, and you are back in the field again.
You lay down once more in the long, swaying grass. As you lay there, you feel yourself become awake again, and your breathing again becomes regular. You feel yourself coming back into present time. You open your eyes and you are once again awake and where you were when you started.
Earth Spell
Spell for Prosperity
You will need:
- a green pillar or votive candle
- a container for your candle
- patchouli or sandalwood oil
Ground and center yourself. If you have a symbol that represents prosperity, you can carve it into your candle. Take the oil and anoint the candle from wick to bottom to bring prosperity into your life. Lay the candle on your pentacle. Meditate for a few moments on what you are asking for and why you need it. While placing the candle in its container, visualize yourself after you have gained your prosperity. Continue visualizing your outcome, and light your candle. As you do this, say:
Great Lord, Great Lady,
I light this candle to help bring prosperity to my life,
Please help me obtain my goal,
so long as it harms none.
As I will it, So Mote it Be!
Let the candle burn itself out. Once it has finished burning, you can take the remnants and bury it or throw it in the trash.
