A Simple Candle Thanksgiving

You will need:
   - a white candle
   - a fireproof container for candle
   - any pleasant smelling incense
   - any herbs or milk for offering
   - offering bowl

Sit and take some time to relax and ground and center yourself. Think about all the things that have happened this year that you are thankful for. As you light your candle, say:

               
         Great Goddess, Great God,
         I light this candle in honor of You 
         And all that you have given me.

Then, light the incense and say:

         I light this incense as an offering 
         So that I may continue to be blessed
         For the remainder of this year.

Then, offer the herbs/milk and say:

         I offer this to you in Your honor!
         Thank you for that which I have 
         Received this year. 
         May I continue to be blessed every day!  
         An it harm none, So Mote it Be!!

Let candle burn all the way out and bury any remnants.
