| This writing workshop, based on Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way, may be the empowerment your looking for. During the 14 week course facilitated by Ms. Shawn Murray, you will learn to recover your creativity from a variety of blocks, including limiting beliefs, fears, self-sabotage, jealousy, guilt, addictions and other inhibiting forces, replacing them with artistic confidence and productivity. This workshop will guide you through a variety of highly effective exercises and activities that spur imagination and capture new ideas, all culminating with an evening of poetry readings/author readings and an art exhibit showcasing the progress of the workshop attendees. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Fees for this workshop are $20 weekly. Discounts are available if paid in full in advance. We will be using Julia Cameron's books The Artist's Way (required), Right to Write (optional) & Vein of Gold (optional) with weekly reading and writing assignments, in class writing exercises and projects.
