Gordon Young Malcolm Mackay Squad No. Players Name GK Greig Simpson Goalkeeper who started his CBC career when he was eight. Great shot stopper who organises his defence very well. GK Lewis Binnie Lewis is a goalkeeper with great hands and commands his area well. Good in the air. 2. Jamie Ballantyne Very strong and skilful player. Jamie is also attracting interest from Highland League development teams as he consistently plays at a high level week in week out. 3. Stuart Barclay Tall and athletic left sided defender or midfield player. Ted is our skipper and is a great motivator and a real team player. 4. Mitchell Chalmers Mitch is a versatile player who is comfortable in midfield or up front. Mitch is a good finisher and works hard on the pitch. 5. Andy Craig Andy is a very quick and skilful left sided player. He is also very comfortable in a striker�s role. 6. Martin Craig Mazza is a versatile central defender or midfield player. Tall, unassuming, and with a great touch for a tall guy. 7. David Ewen David is a very skilful central midfield player. He always has a trick or two at his feet and is always looking to link up play in midfield. David is another who is playing development football for Cove Rangers FC. 8. Sean Flett Fletty is a very quick player who is adept in either a wide or central midfield role. Fletty has lightning quick feet and the skill to go with it. 9. Dean Lawrie Dean is a great left sided player who has an abundance of skill and desire on the pitch. Deano is another who is starring in development football with Cove Rangers. 10. Stuart Lawrence Stuart is a strong and hard working striker. Stuart always gives 100% and is a very reliable team player. Stuart is currently playing development football with Cove Rangers FC. 11. Findlay MacDonald Fins is a very steady player who is always willing to give 100% for the team cause. Excellent attitude with a willingness to learn all the time. 12. Greg McKenzie Skeg is a former Aberdeen FC development player who is performing really well for Cove 19�s as a central midfielder or defender. Greg has had a great start to the season. 14. Andrew Mair Andy is a player with great ability coupled with a great attitude. Andy is another versatile player who just loves playing the game. I predict a bright future for Andy. 15. Mark Middleton Middy is a versatile midfielder or defender. Predominantly right-sided, Middy can be relied upon to be one of the most consistent performers every week. 16. Scott Maitland Scott is a left sided player who possesses a great strike. Scott is a dead ball specialist on the left side and has great stamina and fitness levels. 17. Greig Martin Greig is a very quick striker who has a keen eye for goal. Greg is a direct player who loves to score and get involved in the thick of the action. Greig is another player with a bright future. 18. Mark Robertson Roobs is a solid right-sided player. Always keen to get involved in the play and always encourages his teammates. 19. Paul Lillie Paul is a very reliable sweeper who is an excellent last line of defence. Paul links well with his other defenders and gives confidence to his teammates. 20. Scott Smith Smithy is a striker who is a natural finisher. Deceptively strong and very skilful with an eye for the killer pass. |
