serving their friends,
not the people, america,
where do you stand?
blank, distracted
by your own mistakes,
watching sports drinking beer
let your mind escape.
the reality is you just don't care,
you just don't know what is going on.
it's hard to look forward,
when forward you look down,
head in the sand,
looking forward as you drive
down the free way of your promised land
unware of the cost that your lifestyle spends
taken from others past, present, and future,
this land is your land,
oblivious that it's stolen.
