Before Fame
- When Jennifer was 11, a painting she'd done was displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art - Jennifer attended the New York's High School For The Performing Arts, better known as the Fame, where she graduated in 1987 - Aniston worked in the off-Broadway productions " For Dear Life" and " Dancing on Checker's Grave" - Some of her old jobs enclude: waitress, telemarketer, messenger and receptionist - It took a while for before Jennifer got acting roles, until her agent suggested she should lose some weight
- Courteney attended Mountain Brook High School, where she was a cheerleader - She studied architecture & interior design at Mount Vernon College for a year - After one year she dropped out to a pursue a modelling career in New York, after being signed by the prestigious Ford Modelling Agency. She appeared on the covers of teen magazines such as Tiger Beat and Little Miss, plus numerous romance novels. - She then moved on to commercials for Maybeline, Noxema, New York Telephone Company and Tampax. - Courteney was the first person to ever say "period"
on American TV, in the commercial for Tampax - Courteney then got a small soap role on the soap "As the World Turns" - In the mid eighties, Courteney also hhosted a TV show called "This Week's Music" - In 1984, Corteney worked at F.B.I. (Frontier Booking International), a concert booking agency in New York run by Ian Copeland (brother of Stewart of the Police) and a relative of Courteney's - That same year, she appeared as the girl who dances with Bruce Springsteen in the Brian De Palma-directed video, "Dancing in the Dark". The job paid only $350, but the exposure was enough to springboard Cox to other work in the industry - In 1985, Courteney was chosen out of many hopefuls to play Michael J. Fox's girlfriend Lauren on "Family Ties" - Courteney stayed on Family Ties 'till the end of the show in 1989. She didn't get another memorable role until 1994, when she starred alongside Jim Carrey in the unexpected hit "Ace Venture: Pet Detective". Not much after that movie, Courteney was casted for the role as Monica Geller on Friends, the show that would change her life and career forever

Lisa was a very good tennis player in high school - Lisa was a member of the comedy troupe, "The Groundlings". Jon Lovitz, a friend of Lisa's brother's, had just been cast on Saturday Night Live, which reawakened her love for acting. Lovitz encouraged Lisa to audition for the improvisational-comedy troupe "The Groundlings", to follow her real passion in life: performing. She was referred to a well-known improvisation teacher after having been rejected for the Groundlings. In 1989, she finally became an official member of "The Groundlings" - Lisa was originally casted for the role of Roz Doyle on "Frasier", in 1993. The producers and writers decided that they were changing the character too much to fit Lisa's personality. Lisa got fired during rehersals and the role was recasted
- After receiving his first motorcycle at age eight, Matt LeBlanc started participating in various amateur competitions with hopes of racing professionally. He soon ran into a roadblock�his mother�forcing him to find a different outlet for his talents. He trained for a career in carpentry, but ultimately decided to become an actor - By 1987, he had obtained parts in national television commercials for products like "Levi's 501 jeans", "Coca-Cola" and "Doritos". He also appeared in a Heinz ketchup spot that won the prestigious Gold Lion Award at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival
- Matthew used to be ranked nationally in junior tennis in Canada. He has said on interviews that he tried to play in the states but he wasn't good enough. He then decided to go for an acting career - Matthew was discovered in a restaurant by director William Richert. Richert offered Matthew a small part in the movie, "A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon", starring River Phoenix. He was only sixteen then - At the end of the eighties, Matthew starred on some successful sitcoms: "Who's The Boss", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Dream On". His most successful guest-appearing role was the role of Carol's boyfriend, Sandy, on the popular 80s show "Growing Pains". Matthew was on the show for several episodes, his character eventually died after a car accident
- David made his acting debut as the fairy godmother in a Jewish version of Cinderella in 1977 - In 1988, along with seven other Northwestern graduates, he co-founded Chicago's Looking glass Theatre Company - He played everything from a hippy to a vigilante lawyer in recurring roles on the television series "The Wonder Years" [1991-1992], LA Law [1992 � 1993], NYPD Blue [1993] and Blossom [1993]
