People that Make You Go "Huh?"

Hey! People reading about yourselves! Don't take offense, because
this is where I tell the truth and don't spit out sugarcoated talk. Ahem. :)

Mom - Well, that's obvious. She's my mom
. Quite the complicated and stubborn person
, though she rarely admits so. I'd like to think
that's where I got it from. She's moody
sometimes, like my Dad and I. Powderkeg, eh?

Dad - My dad and I have quite a dramatic
relationship. He has a confusing sense of
loyalty. His "I don't know/you never told me"
attitude makes me suspicious sometimes.
Always the reliable, unlikely ally - like
the United States.

Terrance(TC) - My brother. He's like a mix of
Trent from "Daria" and Zooey from JD
Salinger's book Franny and Zooey. Yeah.

UC - My uncle, whom I talk to about a lot of
things I wouldn't even post here.

Barb(ara) - My friend of 5 years. Barb likes to
listen a lot, make jokes, and go shopping. She
always makes me smile, whether I want to or
not. Sometimes, Barb doesn't understand my
darker moods, and shies away when I need
her most.

Laura - My friend of 18 years. She's born on
the same day as I am - November 14th. Our
relationship wavers from close to semi-close.
I'm not sure if this is because of our lack of
communication, or simply the fact that we don't
need communication at times. We're Couch
Potato friends, although Laura never (seems)
to gain weight. I'm jealous :P

Leslie - I've known Leslie for 2 years and odd
months. Sometimes our friendship wavers
because things I'd never expect to bother it,
do. All in all though, Leslie knows more about
me than myself, and is one of my few friends
not afraid of my moods. At times, this is
comforting, and at others, an absolute p.i.t.a.
Sometimes, I feel she's the only one who
really listens to what I'm saying.

Kenny - One of my few and far between male
friends. Kenny can be extremely frustrating
at times, almost forcing me to work on the
friendship so I don't become too angry with
him. I've never known Kenny to be seriously
angry with me though, and vice versa.

Charlene - I was introduced to Charlene
through Leslie and am extremely glad I had the
chance of having her friendship. Charlene is a
great listener, and isn't afraid to add her two
cents when my head gets big.

Bill - Bill and I haven't really developed our
friendship as much as I'd like to. I'm admittedly
hesistant to befriend him at times. He was
introduced to me by Leslie and Charlene.

Nicole (and LJ) - Nicole is my friend from
Ithaca, NY. We talked online for a long time. I
like to think of our friendship as "The Sounding
Board" where we're not afraid to say
anything. LJ is her fiancee, and very nice
indeed. :)

Etienne - My son. I swear, I have no idea how
I gave birth to a grey and black striped
American Shorthair cat. (No, he's really a cat.
Yes, a cat.)

P.B. - My mom's cat, who only likes to pay
attention to me if she needs to be let out, fed,
or is having trouble with birthing pains. She's
Etienne's other mother.

Lina - If there was a Mother Earth of cats, Lina
is it. Moody, serene, sneaky, and round.
Very, very round.
