THUMBS UP QUOTES AND SAYINGS

Please remember that these quotes are not mine, though I have chosen the best quotes I have read and had really an impact on me. I'm sure it can give you too!

  1. "If you dig a grave for others, you might fall for it yourself."
  2. This quote is very clear that malevolence for others might actually happen to yourself. Therefore, if we are envious of this person or has a great grudge for him/her, we should actually control ourselves not to create or plan bad things for that person.

  3. "If you reach for a star, you might not get one. But you won't come up with a hand full of mud either." by Leo Burnett
  4. This is to slap into our faces to never be afraid to dream what you want to become. As said that dreaming is the first way to success and thus we will encourage ourselves to work for this dream but if we do not get it, we will probably have high chances of fulfilling our wants because we did not came off empty handed by trying that dream.

  5. "Falling might be scary, but landing is not."
  6. I may interpret this as similar to overthinking. When we overthink, we fill our minds with nervous asssumptions that keep us from doing what we should do. But when we actually went through, we realized that there is more to that horror assumptions we made. Therefore, do not overthink.

  7. "Life is like a ten-speed bike. Most of us have gears we never use." by Charles M. Schuiz
  8. It says for me that life is enjoyable and fun. But we never think about harms that will affect ourselves and other people. I also interpreted it as simple as we humans are actually aware about dangers to happen, but we don't use our minds to control over us to become good in a decision we make.

  9. "Humor oils the wheels of life and helps keep it running smoothly." by Dorothea Kopplin
  10. Every day living, with all the problems, without humor, everything would be dull, colorless and dry. Thus we need these humor to make us laugh to forget, and laugh to move on.

  11. "You can practice shooting 8 hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way." by Michael Jordan
  12. This basically tells us that if we want to be great at something, we must be sure that the path to that proper greatness is correct and precise.

  13. "Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile." by Billy Sunday
  14. I barely interpreted it as in your religion, it doesn't mean that you always go to a mosque, church, or religious monuments, it makes you a true and worthy believer of the religion. You must adhere deeply to what it says and not just rely on how many times you are present in a praying time.

  15. "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." by Abraham Lincoln
  16. This actually gives meaning on how to save time more. As you can see, if we won't sharpen the axe, we might actually be wasting more time because we drain our energy chopping a tree as compared to just sharpening an axe. Therefore, to sharpen the axe means taking steps that will help maintain an achievable and less time consuming endeavor.

  17. "Live your life like there is no tomorrow."
  18. This reminds me that I must act like tomorrow doesn't exist so that I may be the best version of myself to help people, be kind and considerate, and enjoy life.

  19. "After laughter comes tears."
  20. It's true. Though this fact might be unwanted, it keeps a natural balance in everyday living. We can't stay happy forever because if sadness never comes, it doesn't give the true meaning of life.

That's all for this section! But let me share to you my personal quote/saying that every day is a mission you need to solve that might save you from tomorrow. Hahahaha! This personal quote motivates me to not procrastinate.
