Congratulations to Chris Moran, only the second person to win the Weekly Competition twice along with Dermot Burke. Chris held the lead from midweek and despite Terry Taylor’s & Dermot Burke’s best efforts held on for a one shot victory.

 

Feedback from this year’s event was very positive and led to our first ever 100%+ score, due in no small part to the excellent delegation policy of the current serving committee.

 

Some future rule changes were also discussed and the main ones are mentioned below

 

No shots back on home courses

 

1 shot back for every day a golfer is not in the prizes – subject to further discussion and final agreement
