Dawson runs out of the store, but it was too late Joey was already gone.
Pacey: (running after him)"Dawson? What happened?"
Dawson: (putting his hands through his hair)"It's a long story."
Pacey: "Long story? When did you and Joey start sharing stories?"
Dawson: "Pacey as much as I would love to talk about this with you. I really have to go and talk to her."
Dawson runs off towards Joey apartment, to find her sitting on the front steps.
Dawson: "Jo, I know I'm the last person you want to see right now..."
Joey: (cutting him off)"Yea your right."(getting up)"Please leave."
Dawson:"Joey we really need to talk."
Joey:"About?"
Dawson: "The other night..."
Joey: "Remember, I tried to talk to you about it. And I quote you, "It doesn't matter, we were just drunk."And you know what it doesn't, it was just a one night thing you know just two kids fooling around."
Dawson: "If it didn't matter why did you run away from me just now?"
Joey turns to the front door with out saying anything trying to hide her sad expression.
Dawson:"It matter to you didn't it, that's why your upset. Why don't you admit it?"
Joey turns around and looks at him upset.
Dawson: (soft tone)"You know it."
Joey: (soften expression)"Dawson, can't we just go back, with just me and you as two co-stars that work with each other and nothing else?"
Dawson:"Like it never happened?"
Joey nods.
Dawson:"I don't think we can make that happen."
Joey:"We have too, I mean if we don't we're going to have this awkward state everytime we're by each other.
Dawson:"Is that what your worried about, that we're going to feel awkward?"
Joey:"No, Dawson this is all confusing and new. And I don't want to ruin the friendship we already built on."
Dawson:"But Joey..."
Joey: "It's the best thing, I have to go."(walks into her apartment)
Dawson walks into his small apartment setting his car keys on the counter, meanwhile Pacey lays on the couch watching Mad Max.
Dawson:(sighs)"Pacey don't you have some where else to go?"
Pacey:(looking up from the couch)"I just thought I would just drop by."
Dawson:(looking at him puzzled)"How did you get in anyways?"
Pacey holds up Dawson's house keys.
Dawson:"How did you get those?"
Pacey:"You left them on the door."
Dawson:"I what?"
Pacey:(getting up from the couch)"It seem like you haven't been thinking right lately."(set the keys in Dawson's hand)"What wrong with you man?"
Dawson:"I'm fine, it happens."
Pacey:"You been acting very not like yourself, lately."
Dawson:(crossing his arms)"How that?"
Pacey:"Mooping, toning people out, not thinking, watching those damn love story. I'm surprised I actually found Mad Max in those tapes and tapes of love movies."
Dawson:(playing it off)"I was only watching those movies cause I was thinking of taking a role in a romance movie and..."
Pacey:(laughs)"Bull Shit, your still hang up on someone. Let me guess."(acting like he thinking hard)"Sara?"
Dawson:"That so over."
Pacey:"Ummm... Oh that girl we saw at that topless bar with the big..."
Dawson:(cutting him off)"No, I'm not hang up on anyone."
Pacey:(laughs)"Okay man."(pause)"About the topless bar, how about it? Cause you mopping in this confine place can make anyone go crazy."
Dawson:"It's okay I'm all set."
Pacey:"Okay, I'm just warning you when your here watching some eye tearing movies and I'm getting it on with a fine girl, you'll be begging you where there."
Dawson:"I'm sure I won't and anyways you know you can't get it on with any girl cause Jen would disown you if you tried."
Pacey:"Whatever dude."(opens the front door)"C-ya."(walks out closing the door)

Joey walks into her apartment. She couldn't believe that she actually laid to Pacey. What was up with her? She been acting this way this whole week, not wanting to be around people and just keeping to herself. She was never that not out going, but she never laid to people just to get away from them.
Joey walked into her bed room going for the remote that was placed on the night table. Turning the tv on to Passions
Kay Bennett on screen crying:"...he has should a good heart, such a beautiful heart. He was always thinking about other people before himself. You know I even learned how to play softball, just so I can spend time with him. We we're a really-really good team. Miguel and Kay, Kay and Miguel, no body heard our names an less they were together."
Joey started crying to the site of Kay Bennett pouring her heart to the boy she loves and not having him knowing it.
Not wanting to watch any more Joey turns the tv off. And whips the tears off her face.
Jen:(from the door way)"Joey your crying."
Joey:(surprised)"Jen?"(pause)"Hi."(whipping more tears)
Jen:(walking to the bed)"Are you okay."(sitting down next to her)
Joey:(laughs)"Yea, I was just watching Passions."
Jen:(confused)"Passions?"
Joey:"It's a soap."
Jen:"Oh."
Joey:"I get all teary when I watch it."
Jen:(sweet smile)"Aren't you going to ask me how I got in here or how I knew you where back."
Joey:(laughs)"Dare I ask."
Jen:"The door thing was that you left it open, that kind of madame for people here knowing it's a small town and the knowing you were here, that was Pacey doing."
Joey:(smiles)"Who else."
Jen:"Yea. You being here for a week and you haven't call me, not even once to go shopping is just surprising, Joey Potter."
Joey:"I'm sorry, I haven't been in the mood."
Jen:"I so I've heard."
Joey:"Ah the truth come out."
Jen:"Just that you been down and been keeping to yourself."
Joey:"I have my reasons."
Jen:"Does it have to do with Jason?"
Joey:(wide eyed)"What?"
Jen:"I ran into him in Boston and he told me that you two broke up. Is it true?"
Joey nods."
Jen:(giving Joey a hug)"I'm sorry.A break up could be the most painful thing ever."
Joey:(sigh relieved)"Um yea."
Jen:(pulls back)"How about we go to the cafe down the street and drink up some of that java, how does that sound?"
Jen:(opening the front door of the cafe)"Don't worry, they'll be man at your front steps any day now."(smile)"I'm sure of it."
Joey:"Yea. You don't have to worry about that cause you have Pacey."
Jen:(smiles)"Yea I do and I'm very happy with him, even if he always at those damn topless bars."
Jen turns and spots Dawson sitting alone at the far end of the cafe.
Jen:"Looks who here."(points)
Joey:(looking toward where Jen is pointing)"Who..."(see Dawson drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper)"Oh."
Jen:(grabbing Joey's hand)"Come on let go and say hi."
Joey:"You do that I'll go and look for a table."
Joey looks around the cafe but there isn't any empty tables.
Jen:(Also realizing it)"There isn't any, we can sit with Dawson. There two seats at his table."(pulling Joey)"Come on before someone take them."
Dawson looks at the newspaper that set in front of him, not able to get the image of Joey naked forum out of his mind. He hasn't got that much of sleep for the pass days. Every night he would have the same dream of him and Joey making love over and over. And it would always end the same way Joey would be riding him fast and hard, but when he really to come she disappear and he left alone.The dream seem so real that it would effect him when he wake from it. He would have the biggest hard on that not even a cold shower could cool him down.
Jen:"Dawson, Hi."
Dawson:(breaking through his thoughts)"Huh?"(notices Jen standing in front of him with a big smile)"Jen Hi."
Jen:"You looked last there buddy."
Dawson:(stilling not realizing Joey there)"Yea, I have a lot on my mind."
Jen:"I see."(pause)"So if you don't mind can Joey and I sit here?"
Dawson:"You and Joey?"(looks and see Joey standing behind him)
Jen:"Yes, do you mind?"
Dawson:"No,no you guys can sit."(gets up and pulls out a seat for Joey and Jen)
Joey:(sitting down)"Thanks."
Dawson:(not taking his eyes off of her)"Your welcome."
Dawson stares in Joey's eyes getting lost in those big hazel eyes.
Jen:"Joey I'm going to get the drinks, what do you want?"
Joey:(getting up)"Oh Jen I'll get them."
Jen:(pushing her back down)"No that's okay I'll get them. What do you want?"
Joey:(looks at Dawson for a second)"Just some black coffee will be fine."
Jen:"Okay."(walks off)
Dawson and Joey share a awkward moment.
Dawson:"I better go."
Joey:"What,why?"
Dawson:(getting up)"Cause I can see that you don't want me here."
Joey:"I never said that."
Dawson:"I can see it in your eyes."
Joey:"What about Jen?"
Dawson:"I don't know tell her that I had to pay some bills."
Joey:"That so not funny Dawson."
Dawson:"Your the one that insinuate it."
Joey:"Dawson, I don't want to have a dispute about this right now."(pause)"And I thought we were supposed to forget about it."
Dawson:(whispering)"That the problem, I can't."
Joey:"You have too."(also whispering)
Dawson:"I don't think it's possible."
Jen:"What not possible?"
Joey:(making something up)"To swim across the creek."
Jen:(sitting down)"Oh."
Joey:"It was just a stupid chat me and Dawson we're having."
Joey looks at Dawson and he looks the other way crossing his arms.
Jen:"Okay"
Jen cell phone goes off.
Jen: (picking it up)"Hello? Pacey hi...now...but...okay."(getting up)
Joey:"Where you going?"
Jen:"Sorry kids but I have to jet. Pacey wants me to go to the market and get something, before we go to the Witter house whole."
Joey:(smiling)"Family dinner?"
Jen:(roll eyes)"Yes."
Joey:"I remember that, good luck."
Jen:"Thanks."(give Joey and Dawson a hugg)"Bye."
Dawson:"Bye."
Jen:"Have fun you two." (walks off)
Joey:(also getting up)"Well bye."
Dawson:"Your leaving too?"
Joey:"Yes, bye."(walks off)
Dawson sit at the table for a second then decide to go after her, cause he wasn't going to let her go that easy.
Outside of the cafe.
Dawson grabs Joey by the arm.
Joey:(trying to pull off)"Dawson what are you doing?"
Dawson doesn't say anything and pulls her into a empty alley.
Joey:(upset)"What the hell Dawson!"
Dawson:(pulling her against the wall)"I'm not going let you go."(pause)"I can't let you go."
Dawson pulls her closer and kisses her. At first Joey try to pull away, but then she gives in and starts kissing Dawson back. Dawson grabs Joey by her butt and pulls her up against the wall again. Now they were both horny, Dawson knew that he wanted Joey again. But he wasn't going to start anything cause it was Joey choice.
