coup de grace Comics started in late October of 2002 when its author and creative genius, Robby, was doing Independent Study and living in Los Angeles. With an empty schedule and bored-ifying amounts of free time, he spontaneously began a comic. Having had no history in comic-making whatsoever, (save a small stint with his Roman Warrior-based superhero comic Latin Man) the series had a rough start. (As you can see from the first few comics.)
After a long and procrastinated pause in the series, it came back in June of 2003, and, while not updated as frequently, maintains a level of humor paralleled only by that of comics done by people who are actually funny. |
