Transfers have been introduced to make the league more exciting, and to encourage interaction between managers.
Every turn you will be sent a message from your accountant stating the amount of money the team has.
This money can be spent on the Auction List, or on buying players directly from other managers. Here we are going to concentrate on how to buy players from other managers.
First have an idea of who you may want to buy, from players you know of, or good performing players in either division. Then post a message to the manager of the team the player plays for on the message board, or e-mail the manager directly.
That manager will let you know if he is willing to sell that player, and if he is, then you can negotiate how much of your money you want to spend on him.
Once both managers have agreed a price for a player, they need to send details of the transfer to The County Cricket League with the next turn.
That's all! If both managers have given the same transfer details, then the player will be transferred before the match has been played that turn. If details are wrong, then the transfer will not take place.
Transfer deadline: no transfers will be allowed after turn 15.
N.B. Overseas players cannot be transferred. This is due to the fact that each team will have the option to change their overseas player for next season, as in real cricket.
