| Kasey Chambers is an Australian Country Music legend having her debut album, The Captain go Gold and her follow-up album, Barricades and Brickwalls, go Platinum not only once, but four times. She is known world-wide and has had singles such as, 'The Captain', 'This Flower', 'Runaway Train', 'If I Were You' and the biggest of all, 'Not Pretty Enough' which made Country Music make a come-back into the Pop charts. Kasey has not always been a solo act, but was part of the Dead Ringer Band which consisted of her mother, father and brother. Occasionally, they would have support acts which include the well known Catherine Britt and Beccy Cole. Kasey has just had her first child, a son, and is living as a mother on the Central Coast of Australia. Kasey has plans for a new album early 2004. |
