These are awesome...you can put any candle on the warming tray and turn it on and in a short time the candle starts to melt and the scent is given off...no need to worry about open flames. Great for offices, dorm rooms, anywhere. Will work with most regular candles- although I found shorter candles will throw a scent faster. That is why I use tins- quicker to heat up and still a great scent throw! This is an electrical appliance so care should still be used when in use.
