Let us introduce ourselves. Im CountryKitin and my sis is Tumbleweed.
Many moons ago, we made our home in Texas. We were raised on rich,
moving old country music. The kind that really made you cry. For kicks
every once in awhile we like to rack our brains and pull our
hair out with a little game we like to call "Hey, member that song?"
Then we spend a few days digging through old tapes and albums trying to
find it. Then we inevitably end up discussing how sad it was that
country music isn't like it used to be and so many have forgotten,
or not even heard of these great old songs. Don't get us wrong,
there is still a lot of good country music being made today. But
nothing can compare to Cal Smith singing "She Talked a lot about Texas".
There is so much to remember and even a lot to learn. We've designed
this site to pay tribute to all the old music we were raised
on. Our main goal is to make others aware of what they may have
missed and offer our knowledge and help in the quest to find
the oldies. How many times have you racked your brains to remember the
name or artist of an old song rolling through your head? Perhaps you know
the name of the song, but can't remember who recorded it--or vice versa?
Makes it difficult to run and go buy if you're lacking pertinent info
about it huh? Well now, that's why we are here. We can just stroll
happily down memory lane, and help you find that song or artist you
are looking for. Ever heard of Johnny Rodriguez? Razzy Bailey? There are so
many artists that made our day back then. So, give your surfing finger a
rest and stay and reminisce awhile...... We're glad you came....This is
