William (Bill) was born Jan 7th 1904 in Atherton Lancashire,
the youngest son and last born of John THOMASON & Esther TICHBORNE.
Bill came to Canada as a young man
and worked throughout the Crowsnest BC area,
returning to England to get married.

Bill & Matilda had 2 children:
1) William Tichborne THOMASON Jr born 1926 / died 1980
He and his wife had 6 children.
The eldest was Margaret Claire born Aug 7 1958.
She died at only 2.5 months of age on Nov 16 1958,
as a result of 'Waterhouse-Frederickson Syndrome'
due to 'Meningococcal Septicaemia' according to her death certificate.
2) Daughter THOMASON born 1928 / Still Living
She and her husband have 2 living children.

On Aug 9 1930,
after living only 1 year in her new homeland,
Matilda (Hilda) died in a tragic car accident
when she suffered a fractured skull.
Matilda's sister Mary Margaret came over to Canada
to help look after her niece and nephew.

Bill & Maggie had 2 children:
1) Robert Tichborne THOMASON born Dec 9 1931
Little Robert died Sep 2 1932 when only 8 months 24 days old,
as a result of contracting measles followed by bronchial pneumonia.
2) James Bernard THOMASON born 1935 / died 1985
James and his wife had 2 children.

William and his siblings Noah, Sarah, Charles and Annie
all emigrated to Canada at various times,
settling in the Michel British Columbia area and many worked in coal mining.
Mary Margaret (Maggie) died Dec 11th 1962.
William (Bill) lived several more years, dying Nov 3 1971.
