William Climie-1861 Agricultural Census



In Plympton Township in 1861 the Agricultural Census was taken
and the following is what is reported for William CLIMIE.

William was married to Marion PARK on Feb 1 1842.
After her death in 1855, her sister Janet lived with William and his children as housekeeper.
William and Janet Park DONALD, a widow, married in March 1871.

2 horses over 3 years of age

1 colt or filly under 3 years of age
47 sheep
13 pigs

Total Value of all livestock=$658.00

300 pounds of butter
1 barrels of 200 pounds ~ beef
5 barrels of 200 pounds ~ pigs
