"Hi, my name is Nikita. I am very happy to meet you. I need some help if you don't mind. See my mommy had to go live in a place they call an "assisted living" home so I had to be given up. I don't understand why she had to go because I was assisting her myself. I had a brother that was ill and did not make it but that is ok. I would love to be the only dog. I am also very loyal to any women that I come in contact with. My foster mommy calls me a walking piece of Velcro. I love to sleep with you in bed but because of my extra weight I need a little assistance. About the weight thing, I have lost about 2 lbs since being in this new home but my doctor says I need to loose about 8 more lbs. My foster family is working very hard to get that extra weight off me so I can run and play like the other dogs. I love any female human and would like to be an only dog but if you have other dogs, expect me to always want to be the one closest to you. I like men after a little adjustment period. My foster daddy says I am just a big teddy bear that needs to get to know the man of the house and that he will not hurt me. I have a little trouble with cats. I want to play with them but I am unsure of how to be easy when I play. My foster family is teaching me this skill and said once I master that I will be a very good dog. I still have trouble with house breaking issues but we are working on those every day. I like to go outside but I prefer to be on the couch or chair curled up next to you. My entire body shakes when I wag my tail. I will greet you at the door after a long day at work and will help you forget about any bad days you have had. I just want someone to love me and let me be their Velcro dog. Please consider me." |
