Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of god is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
What can you do to be cleansed from that guilt and to get eternal life? The answer is Jesus!!! You can`t get eternal life by good deeds or church membership. You can only be saved by the grace of god thru trusting in Jesus Christ. He died in your place as your sacrifice. By trusting in that you are saved:
Romans 5:8: But God commandeth his love towards us, in that, while we wereyet sinners, Christ died for us
John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
