Here are some cool rodeo-pics taken at ERCA (European Rodeo Cowboy Assn) events in Germany! The ERCA is a US Army Europe endorsed organisation and sanctions rodeos all over Europe, mainly Germany.

IS RODEO CRUALTY TO ANIMALS?
Rodeo is a sport, the sport of the cowboys (and cowgirls for that matter). So called animal rights activists try to spread lies about rodeo to bring discredit to our sport in europe. A frequent lie is that the flank strap is tied around the testicles of the animals and therefore causes pain. I have never seen this done to an animal at the rodeos I attend because we don`t use the flank strap - and the animals still buck!
Besides - reproduction is very important for the breeders of bucking bulls so it would be common sense to protect the reproduction organs rather than to harm them. Another point of animal rights activists is that animals should not be used for our pleasure and should be left alone. They claim that it does not make sence to f.e. ride a bull. Well, many things don`t make sence but that does not make it wrong. I  love animals and believe they should be treated with care, the should not be abused! However, saying that we should not use animals simply because they don`t like it is ridiculous. Just think about it !!!!!!! By that they put animals over humans! There are many things I don`t like but I have to do them whether I like them or not...Here is what my Lord and Saviour says about that subject in his will, the bible: Psalm 8: 4-8 - What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feed: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passed through  the paths of the seas.
