CountryCooks are from Laurel,Mississippi.We are very well none for our out doors cookin.18 to 20 Crazy guys that come out and cooks for fun.Cooks was started in the early 1970's when a cooking team call Texas ChuckWagon Gang came to Laurel to cook for the Oilfield Golf Tourment held at Dixie Gulf Course and by the way still held to this day every year.They asked, Why didn't we have our on cookin team in laurel.So they help the older cooks get started.Our colors are Red and White accent.we cook Barbue chicken,Barbue beef,steaks,stuff pork chops,fried fish,and hole pigs.With sides of green beans,slaw,tater salad,small hole fried new tater,and yes tatie bake beans.Our leader billy ray jones. we call him b.r. he keep us in line.our web site is in repair |
