Rambler

The group Rambler is made up of brothers Tim (on lead vocals and acoustic guitar) and Dave Brown (on bass guitar and some lead vocals and harmonies), Troy Chavez on lead guitar and vocals, Tom Mills on fiddle and mandolin and Matt Emmons on drums.

I got to see them when they opened for Shane Minor at InCahoots on October 16, 1999.  They were a wonderful surprise!  We had great seats.  They came on at 9pm, and played until 10:30pm, longer than Shane! They played all the songs on their CD (which I bought after their show).  They did their first siingle "Dreamin'", and they said it made it to the Top 40.  They did a bunch of cover songs, I think I'm only missing a couple: Brown Eyed Girl, Bigger Than the Beatles, then a bunch of Beatles songs: She Loves You, Yea, Yea, Yea, Hard Days Night, Help!, Twist and Shout, and also Play that Funky Music, and Copperhead? (not sure about that one).  They also did an origonal called "Jimmy's in Love with a Mexican One-eyed Stripper".  It was hilareous!

They were signing after the show, so I got my CD signed.  They were are really nice and appreciative!

Here are a few pictures I took:

They have a website with bios, photos, their NFL picks, tour dates, a newsletter, lyrics, and clips in MP3 and Real audio of a few of their songs.

So, check 'em out!
