Well, all I have to say is WOW! Michale Peterson is so awsome!!! And crazy too!
We(Jamie and I) got there a 6pm. We thought they opened then, but it was really at 5. We still got great seats though. To the right of the stage, and 2nd and 3rd seats. He had on black jeans, black t-shirt, and a polar fleece (I think) plaid shirt on. Which he later shed! =) He did every song on the CD except "For a Song". Plus a bunch of others. The show didn't start until 11pm. Went till 12:30am. Booker and Dave Lewis did the intro. Booker had a few too many Coors (which he himself said), because he messed up a few words a couple times. These are the songs, a few of which we aren't sure of the title's. "1-800-Here-I-Am" ?, "Make Something Out of Nothing", "Drink, Swear, Steal, Lie" (there were 4 people there with balcks weatshirts, and on each one was one word in the title....he noticed them during the show), "Since I thought I Knew It All", "Lost in the Shuffle", "Love's Great", (one of his favorite country songs.....) "When You Say Nothing at All" (beautful!!!), "I Finally Passed the Bar", "Don't Mess Around with Jim" ?, "That's What they Said about the Buffalo"(said someone requested that one), (talked about people getting up and dancing......) "Let's Chase Each Other Around the Room" (he said for people to get crazy....take a dring of someone else's beer, stand on your hear, stnad on your chair and dance.....well, the lady next to me did the latter!) , "Memphis in the Meantime" (introduced the guys in the band.....did thier solos....he asked if we would mind if he got on the tables (they are about 4 feet from the stage), and asked his 2 guitarists if they would join him....well, they did! He steppedonto a chair to get on the middle table, at least one of his guitarists followed, and they played, and then he moved over one table, which was the one next to me....! He's nuts!), "From Here to Eternity" (he had a letter from a lady in CA about her sister....driving in 3 hours, hard life, etc, and asked if he'd dedicate a song to her.....very sweet....she started to cry, and he said "Don't cry....if you do, I'll start to cry!"), "Book of Motel Maches", "Too Good to Be True", "By the Book". He came out for an encore....just him and his guitar, and did "When The Bartender Cries", then the band came back out.... he did a favorite John Denver song of his......"I'd Rather be a Cowboy", then did "White Christmas", and "Rudolph" (he wanted everyone to sing along.....this is the only part of the concert I did not fully enjoy, because of the drunk group behind us....), then he did "Rollin' a Seven" ?.
They announced he would sign autograpgs....well, during on of the songs, "FHTE" I think, I had put in a 2nd roll of film...must have beeen something wrong with it, because after 2 pictures, it rewound! That was all the film I had. But, the girl in line in front of us.....(Gina, if you happen to see this...thank you!!!!) took pictures for us. They were cloing at 1am, so they moved the rest of us outside. Gina had just gotten her picture taken, and then they cut it off. Micheal said "We're going to the bus". We all followed him out. He signed out there..... Very cool! (And a bit cold too!) <G> They had one of those little wreaths made of lights in the side window of the bus. He asked everyone thier name's when he signed, which is cool. Not everyone does. I want his shirt! It was polar fleece..... so soft! =)
Well, that is all for now. If anyone knows the correct title for the songs we're not sure about, please let me know..also if you know whose song it is. I wish he would record the John Denver one!
