Manhattan, KS
6-23-01
Maggie, Amy, and I met up in KC the night before, and headed out in the morning. We barely made it to Manhattan, I almost ran out of gas.
We waited in line, it was getting hot out. It really was a Stamped to get in the gates. We just took our time, watched out for the mud pits!
We put our chairs up near the center, not too far fromt the VIP section, but later discovered we were too close to the speakers out there. We wet over by the merchadise tents, and the radio staion camper thingy, and we found Dusty. Debbie came out with our passes for us. M&G and Dozer passes, to sit on the side of the stage for their show. They didn't get to do the M&G before the show, because sound check was running behind. The show was great. Not too many people in the VIP area for them, but they really got those that were there going by the end of the show.
The goose! We thought it was funny!
