This month's lesson is about CHANGE and Comparisons.
TALK opened its second location at Nova University in West Fort Lauderdale. (Students who visited TALK in 1998-2000 know about my love for Laser Tag. Our school is located about 4 miles, or 6 km, south of the Laser Quest game area on 2101 N. Univeristy Drive. (954.747.1474)
Our second school is in Nova University at 3100 South University Drive.
The exercise today is for you to write a comparison, using words that are difficult for you. You can write to me at [email protected]
This is my special email address for people who want me to look at their compositions.
Here is an example of a composition, but there is something wrong with the comparisons.
A typical error by Spanish speakers is the confusion between "THAT' "Then" and Then"... Part of the problem comes from the word "que".
I can say, "London es mas grande que Miami."
London is bigger than Miami.
Steve said that London is bigger than Miami.
Steve me dijo que London es mas grande que Miami.
The que is both that and than.
Can you compare these students? One of them is Krista. She has the most long hair in the group.

A Comparison between TALK's FIRST location at Nova (near the Pier 1 sotre) and the new location (in a school house next to a pool)
Our second school was located in a shopping area until October 12, 2000. on Columbus Day, we moved into the new building that is near a pool. There is a soccer field that is more big than the park near TALK's beach school.
The pool is more deep than a typical pol because people play water polo there.
The location is little convenient than our Pier 1 location because there are no vending machine.
We hope that we will find some food soon. Until then, we are bringing cookies to the school to drink with the coffee (which is more hot that the coffee at the other place).
