| Weather in Brazil by Sonia Wyatt In the north of Brazil, it is summer all year but the states of the South are very cold during the winter (July, August and September). We don't have hurricanes and tornadoes, but sometimes the wind blows slowly. During the summer we have school vacation and a lot of people go to the beaches (January and February). The Amazonian jungle has a lot of rain and the plants grow up faster than other places. There are many kinds of plants and animals because it is humid and hot. Only in a few southern cities sometimes there is snow. When this happens, the hotels are full because it is different (unusual) for the majority of the people. I love when the breezes begin during the summer because the temperaure is very hot and that comes to refresh me. and they refresh me. and that refreshes me. | My city in my country is small and we don't have many things to do. I have had been living there just for 12 years and for me it is so difficult to enjoy living. But we have a big city near us called Brasilia. It's the same distance as Miami from Fort Lauderdale (about 35 km). |
