A Lady's Historiette
This page in all it's changes is 1/4 school, 1/4 journey into the past and 1/2 my hopes for the future of my new work.  It is an exploration of the possibilities for the past.

     Now for school.
I am investigating jewellery of the past.  ~The Greek jewellery site is a composite of  construction and design of jewellery through  antiquity.  Very informative for techniques of applied goldsmithing.
~The Egyptian jewelry site is that of Faience in rings, as well as cosmetics, and other more personal aspects of Egyptian life.
~I just love Faience!  The beauty of its subtle colors, even after all these years.  This next site is on the buying of faience mummy beads.   Amulets of scarabs and other life giving necessities that are bound in the wrappings of mummies.
~Gold!  This is a well known gold importer that I have come across in my tradeshow days.  The history of gold and the information on this site allows for you to buy gold, reproductions, and even check gold prices.
