| Pics of Coronets: This is a list of the 30-some coronets I've made since I started decorative metalworking @ 1994. Items I have pics for will have links. I'm working on pics for the others. Circlets: about a dozen circlets made for prizes and largesse. I don't seem to have pics of any of them, but I have a couple at home I need to dig out and photograph. Baronial Coronets: Kat - polished brass & stirling silver, black onyx & opal cabochons set in silver bezels Gitana de Castille - polished brass, adjustable band, single lapis cabochon Alys Derivaux - german and sterling silver, lapis & moonstone cabochons, points w/spheres Aethelstan Aethelmereson - personal Namron Coronet, brass & sterling silver, hammered finish, cutwork tornados, adjustable band, moss agate & tiger eye cabochons Claryce Orfevre - personal Namron Coronet, brass & sterling, hammered finish, cutwork tornados, adjustable band, moss agate & tiger eye cabochons Barn Silveraxe - polished red brass with 8 carnelian cabochons Arafel of CaerLeon - brass w/ copper edging, onyx and red jade cabochons Burke McDonald - brass w/ copper edging, onyx and amber cabochons Kat - brass & stirling silver, dyed green & carnelian stones, silver filigree crosses Gitana de Castille - hand-hammered brass, adjustable band, lapis & mother of pearl cabochons Rumil Fletcher - 10kt gold plated, sterling edging Margaret Fletcher - 10kt gold plated, sterling edging, sterling filigree crosses w/emerald cabochons. (this had red stones as well, but I can't remember if they were garnets or carnelians) Borek Volkoff - simple brass band with blue stone cabochons Ceridwen - german silver, accented with cut chalices and crescents, amethyst and lapis lazuli cabochons, brass edging Uriah Wolfstar - german silver, brass edging, cutwork wolves & stars, medieval music score engraved, tigerseye and hematite stones Airaklee Wolf - german silver, lapis stones, cutwork Chi-Rho symbols Ceinwen - german silver, filigree cutwork, flared coronet with 12 hinged plaques, points, lapis stones on 6 panels. I love that it folds into this cute little box. Armand DeLacy - german silver, brass studded edging, adjustable band with 4 red tigerseye cabochons, 3 brass squares with piercework swords. Caitrin DeLacy - german silver, brass studded edging, adjustable bands with 4 red tigerseye cabochons, 3 brass squares with piercework ermines enameled black Wiesenfeuer baronial coronets (2) - polished german silver bands, sterling crosses & a cast half-sun embellished with garnets, teardrop garnets set in silver mounted on cutout brass flames.. Namron baronial coronets (2) (his) & (hers) - brass w/ silver edging, german & sterling silver cutwork embellishments, black enamel tornado, 6 points with spheres (these were designed to complement the flat coronets made by Mistress Athena). Bordermarch baronial coronets (2) - brass with silver studded edging, four cutwork castles and eight cutwork rams heads of german silver, four Tigerseye cabochons mounted in handmade silver bezels. County Coronets: Kat & Barn (2) - 6 dovetails, hammered brass finish, garnet and amber stones Mahdi - Four brass dovetails w/ four points & onyx spheres, onyx stones w/silver eight-point stars. Valeria - Four brass dovetails w/ four points & green spheres, green stones, w/ copper cutwork roses. Timotheus - Six brass dovetails, each surmounted with a black enamelled ermine Allyson - Six brass dovetails, each surmounted with a black enamelled rose Aaron & Britta (2) - Six dovetails in celtic knotwork design, german silver, hammered finish w/ garnet stones (his) and amethyst stones (hers) and silver rope edging. Ducal Coronets: Mahdi & Valeria (2) - The coronets listed above were modified to surmount the 4 baronial points with Strawberry leaves. Aaron & Britta (2) - The hammered bands above were stripped and redecorated with six tri-lobe strawberry leaves decorated with celtic knotwork design. Brass accents and brass hammered edging were added. Garnet stones (his). Amethyst stones (hers). |
