The "peace" meant not warring against A. Hitler who at the time was an ally of J. Stalin, the chief Communist in the entire world.
One could frankly observe that those people were mad indeed ; and these matters could be let rest — were it not that some marxist-leninist is more than present to-day in the Internet etc.
American Youth Act was actually passed in the 1990's, I believe. Presumably that was not the act sponsored in the 1930's by the Communist front organizations who also had turned pro-Nazi in 1939-41.
The names of the one Act and the other, passed, Act, are exactly similar. I do not know what more, or what else, there may be to this story ; but knowing those people one is in such an instance as this immediately put on the alert.
Please never confuse the one American Youth Act (sponsored circa 1938 by some marxist-leninist moles) with the other (passed in the 1990's or so).
