Phoenix - a magnificent imaginary creature found in the mythology of Tarsier. This creature is a large reptile with a long, graceful neck, slender horns extending from its regal head. It has two front feet and large rainbow feathered wings. The body tapers down into the tail, which is tipped with feathers.
S.A.N. - Star Alliance Navy. Placed before the name of a ship belonging to this group.
Star Alliance - A confederate alliance between 12 systems: Tarsier, Beloren, Jarktu, Vandersham, Chosde, Opl, Kamith, NX53, Floritt, Shrak, Danoria, and Lanoae. The alliance allows each system to have its own culture, laws, legal systems, currency, and so on.
Star City - A space colony which is the center of government and trade for the Star Alliance.
Warp Drive - An engine installed in the S.A.N. Phoenix that allows the ship to create a spacial rift right where it is,
Warp Gate - A ring of ancient machinery that creates a spacial rift in its center. Any object that passes through the rift is transported unharmed to another Warp Gate. The ride, however, is not very pleasant.
