| This car (1969 Mercury Cougar) was bought in 1969. It was harvest gold with black vinyl seats. Power included a 351W 2v with FMX tranny. I have noted that the tranny and engine have been rebuilt. When I had bought the car it had 60,000 miles on it, Although it had been sitting for 7 years. |

| The Restoration |
| Since this month is December the work on the Cougar is slowing. By the end of the month I plan to put the carpet in the car and the trunk. My two front seats are at the upholsters getting done, they are getting done black with blue piping. My engine work is pretty much at a stand still until I get into Auto Shop in the first of the year. I would guess my car is about 77% done and I am hoping to have it finished for my 16th birthday in May, my birthday gift to myself. |
