About.......................................................................
this site was created on the 12 July 2001 mainly as a personal photographic display. it consist mainly of recent travel photographs. music on the radio are crap and there seem to be less tv programes that require brain activity. it probably hit me at 4am sometime that, "well, why don't i try doing something even worse, like counting roadkills or write my own song or starting a website full of rubbish". and apart from the roadkill thing (which was something like a joke between me and myself) i just cant get to the end of writing songs. then again, when i started creating this page, i thought i should freak some people out by including some pictures of my field trips. well, not so much of roadkills (i can't get over it) but still has some association with animals. in time, there should be some other sections coming up to fill up space and time. This site is obviously a non-profitable site (i don't mind being paid). Photographs from the site can be downloaded and be used at other websites (hopefully with permmission). Not that i would be able to do anything anyway. i am not a professional photographer or an IT engineer. So, any feedback or comments are most welcome. They could be sent to [email protected]

Updates .................................................................
22 September 2001 Apologies made as photos from the Keith camp will not be available as promised. It was a full on 5 day camp and the schedule did not allow much time for photo taking. 23 August 2001 Fixed the dead links from the world map. Note that the sites are still unavailable until future updates. Also fixed some problems with the links on the world map. 13 August 2001 Taken out 8 photos from NZ. They were photos of myself and my siblings while snowboarding on Mt. Ruepehu. i have decided not to include photographs of myself and close ones in future without a good reason. Those photos can still be viewed if requested. 3 August 2001 Added Coorong. Consist of 20 photos. Coorong is a saline lagoon south of Adelaide, South Australia. i happen to be there for a field camp. First page to include a description. Yet to work on descriptions for every photo. Mostly photos of native birds. 12 July 2001 Added NZ. Consist of 28 photos of the north island. i was able to spend a weekend (7th to 8th July) travelling up north from Wellington, where i stayed most of the time. i covered Mt. Ruepehu, Mt. Ngauruhoe, Lake Taupo and Rotorua during the weekend. i have a tendency to neglect taking photos of the places i stay hence there weren't any photos of Wellington. Might compile some to put up in the near future. 12 July 2001 Added Sydney. Consist of 11 photos of the city. Not a very good set of photos as i was only in the city for 3 hours during a stopover to New Zealand on 1st July. Looking ahead .................................................... 23 October 2001 Not much chance of me travelling really. Restriction in time and finance is where i put all my blame on. There are some projects that i m looking into at the moment. i have got hold of some photographs which are well worth of securing some space on the page. i guess the next section (not sure what to call it) coming up will be some cool photographs taken by people i know and see if i am even bothered to have a comment section. Another thing worth mentioning although it still seem rather far away is that there is a "plan" to go to Cambodia in July next year. So, hopefully i get my chance and add stuff to this dying page. 23 August 2001 There is going to be a field camp coming up in less than a month (a chance to freak people out). This time, it is going to be at Ngarkat conservation park down at Keith which is about 240Km south east of Adelaide, Australia. This field camp will span between 15th and 20th September. Photographs would be up on the page soon after the camp. More information about the camp to follow. |
