VOCABULARY
On this page you will find some different terms and deffinitions used through out the rabbit world (and this site ^_^)
Buck: A male rabbit

Doe: A female rabbit

Kit: A baby rabbit

Variety: Color

Broken: A rabbit who is white with any other color

Sheen: The name for a sepecial guard hair found only on a Satin.  When in the sun the coat takes on a shiny appearance thus the name

Butterfly: A nose marking that can be found on certain breeds and varieties

Crown:  A ridge between the ears in lop breeds

Dewlap: A fold of loose skin and fur found under the chin of does in most breeds

6 Class: Larger rabbits with 6 classes; Jr. Buck, Jr. Doe, Intermediate Buck, Intermedeate Doe, Sr. Buck and Sr. Doe  Examples: Satin, Flemish Gient,

4 Class: Smaller rabbits with 4 classes; Jr. Buck, Jr. Doe, Sr. Buck and Sr. Doe Examples: Holland Lop, Dutch, Polish

Junior: A rabbit under 6 months old

Malocclusion: A condition of the teeth when the bottom teeth go over the top, down the throat or out to the side

Senior: A rabbit 8 months old and older (6 class) A rabbit 6 months old and older (4 class)

Intermediate: A Rabbit 6-8 months old (6 class only)
