RESTAURANT  LISTING
In here you will find a list of restaurants which i find really good in Kuala Lumpur, though i am not getting paid to promote any of them.
Some may not be in KL itself, but in the outskirts, about half an hour's drive from the city. I am just started on this list so i will add to it as i go along. Some of these restaurants do not have websites so i will provide the addresses only.
Last updated 7th Nov 2003. The list is in no particular order.

Titiwangsa Seafood Restaurant
Also with many years in existence, they offer a scenery of the nearby lake, wide-open spaces and excellent food. There used to be a nightly cultural dance show, but i haven't been there in a while so pls check if you are interested in the shows.

Ampang Yong Tau Foo
This is the typical Sunday brunch for a lot of Malaysians, especially the chinese. The most famous being the Ampang one. Of course, there are many more places where you can get Yong Tau Foo, but the one in Ampang is has the best reputation. Okay, if you don't know what yong tau foo is, it is Varied TOFU!. Tofu that is prepared in many styles, but not only tpfu, but there are stuffed chilli, brinjal (eggplant), bitter gourd, etc. What are they stuffed with?? Fish paste. Fish meat that has been prepared into a paste and then stuffed into the vegetables or tofu, then deep fried for a bit to hold it together, then put into a soup. There are dipping sauces, chilli sauce or sweet bean sauce.
Address: Just tell the taxi driver the name  and he'll know. It's in Jalan Ampang, KL.
Website: there is one but not working.
Hakka Restaurant
How do i know the food here is great?? I know coz i've eaten here recently and my dad still goes rather often. The food is based on a certain chinese style ,really fantastic and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. If i am not mistaken , you can collect points when dining here if you have a MAS Golden Boutique membership card. The atmosphere is relaxed, dine in the open air, not to worry if it rains, there is a canopy that opens up when necessary.

Finger's Restaurant
On my recent trip back to KL, i met up with my sis who was dining at this wonderful little restaurant in Damansara Perdana area.  The owner is Shiamala, or Sham as she is known. Nice decor, really cozy and well set-up. The selection of food is wide, from Indian to Italian. Take your pick. :) Prices are very reasonable too. All the food preparations are done by Sham herself. Amazingly talented she is and very friendly. Situated in a rather quiet area near the hills, you will find it  rather relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown KL.

Jalan PJU 8/1, Damansara Perdana 47820.
